Traditional foods

Traditional foods have always kept us strong.
The African psyche feels soothed by the use of age-proven foodstuffs and pastries.Development, modernity and civilization have swept our delicacies leading to famine.This photograph shows an attempt to regenerate our culture through planting traditional crops like cassava,bananas.arrow roots etc.This urban agriculture is challenged by lack of arable land.Could it be viable to create food security through small farms in towns? what foods can be grown in such miniature farms and create impact?what do we make of horticulture,aquaculture etc in our food policies? how do you ensure hunger does not yawn at your door?...how do help us feed the hungry in our context or are you part of the problem?........
